We are excited to announce our participation in the European Coatings Show (ECS) 2025—the premier event for the coatings and paint industry. From 25 – 27 March in Nuremburg, Germany, industry leaders across the globe will have an opportunity to explore the latest innovations and advancements that are shaping the future of coatings technology.
Since the very first ECS back in 1991, we have showcased cutting-edge solutions at our booth. This year, we have significantly expanded our space, allowing us to present our broad portfolio of high-performance solutions from our Coatings, Construction, Consumer Materials, and Adhesive Solutions divisions. These complementary innovations reinforce our collaborative approach to addressing industry challenges. From enhanced durability and performance to more sustainable solutions, our experts will highlight how we are driving progress across diverse applications. Here are just a few of our products that will be launched at ECS:
PLIOTEC™ XA 3077
A new, Pure Acrylic binder for Low-VOC Exterior Masonry Coatings designed to protect buildings from harsh weather, UV radiation and moisture, by offering exceptional durability and dirt pick-up resistance across a wide range of sheens from matte to semi-gloss. This versatile binder allows formulators to create high-quality finishes for durable protection, meeting diverse needs while ensuring long-lasting performance.
LIPATON™ SB 33Y50:
This new application of XSBR dispersion LIPATON™ SB 33Y50 with GGBS (ground granulated blast furnace slag) and OPC (ordinary Portland cement) mixture for cementitious waterproofing membrane application can reduce the carbon footprint of traditional OPC and acrylics formulation significantly. The XSBR dispersion, which offers exceptionally low water uptake and high elongation performance, sets a new standard for cementitious waterproofing membranes.
PLEXTOL™ RecyClear:
A water-based acrylic, pressure-sensitive adhesive for PET bottle recycling that offers a reliable, solvent-free option for filmic labels with strong anchorage to BOPP or PET foil, and balanced peel and tack properties. Engineered for PET bottles, PLEXTOL™ RecyClear washes off cleanly per European recycling standards, maintaining wash water and PET flake quality. Removal at lower temperatures (down to 65°C) enhances energy efficiency. Our innovative PSA supports the recycling industry, offering customisable solutions compatible with various coater types.
SEQUAPEL™ 409:
To meet the rapidly growing demand for non-PFAS water repellent agents, SEQUAPEL™ 409 is an anionic stearylated polymer dispersion, designed for use as a sizing agent. SEQUAPEL™ 409 uniquely provides excellent water repellency and holdout properties and is compatible with most coating ingredients. Furthermore, SEQUAPEL™ 409 exhibits excellent temperature and mechanical stability, and provides great results undiluted or diluted by spraying, full bath impregnation or surface coating.
You are invited to meet our team at Booth 2-222 in Hall 2 to explore our latest innovations and discover how our expertise can help elevate your business.
As part of our engagement at ECS, we will also host a series of exclusive product presentations at various locations across the show. These sessions will provide valuable insights into our latest technologies and advancements:
