Synthomer’s EC1+ binders will enhance the green credentials of your flooring adhesives. EPA studies show that indoor pollutant levels can be two to five times higher than outdoor levels, and one major source of indoor pollutants is carpet installation adhesives that don’t meet emissions requirements such as EC1+.
Our acrylic and low-VOC, APEO-free binders have been specifically developed to boost the green credentials of your flooring adhesives. They are ideal for use in adhesives for flooring applications such as carpets, PVC, linoleum and rubber.

| Tacolyn™ 3400 Resin Dispersion | Tackifier Dispersion | Tacolyn™ 3400 resin ester dispersion is an aqueous, 55% solids, solvent-free, anionic rosin ester dispersion prepared from a highly hydrogenated, high softening point resin. It is recommended for use in food packaging applications such as closures, lidding, and cold seal adhesives, as well as pressure sensitive adhesives that contact food. Tacolyn™ 3400 is also used in adhesives applications requiring higher temperature strength such as in high temperature masking tapes, packaging tapes, and contact adhesives.

It is recommended as a single tackifier for anionic polychloroprene latex polymers used in contact adhesive applications. When used as a modifier for contact adhesives, Tacolyn™ 5003 imparts outstanding high temperature performance, excellent contactability and good moisture resistance without the use of a second reinforcing tackifier.

| Tacolyn™ 5085 Resin Dispersion | Tackifier Dispersion | Tacolyn™ 5085 resin dispersion is an aqueous, 55% solids, solvent-free anionic hydrocarbon dispersion prepared from a low molecular weight, aliphatic C5 hydrocarbon resin. It is recommended as a tackifier for isoprene rubber and natural rubber latex polymers used in tape applications. Tacolyn™ 5085 is a good reinforcing agent that maintains excellent peel control when used in pressure sensitive tapes.
