Tyre cord is the fabric used to reinforce tyres. Synthomer offers market-leading fibre-to-rubber adhesion for tyres and rubber products with our PLIOCORD™ and GENFLO™ water-based latex product range, which are used to enable end products to sustain pressure and maintain optimal shape at high speeds and temperatures.
The range includes styrene butadiene vinyl pyridine polymers (VP), styrene butadiene copolymers (SB), and cold-polymerized, non-carboxylated chemistries.
The Synthomer testing centre in Akron, USA contains a single-end pilot scale treating unit, state-of-the-art adhesion testing, and multiple types of fatigue- and age-testing equipment. Our production facilities in Le Havre, France, and Caojing, China, guarantee carbon footprint-efficient supply to customers worldwide.
