Like Regalite R1100 hydrocarbon resin, this resin has excellent compatibility in a wide range of polymers and is an excellent tackifier in hot melts requiring good color retention upon aging.
  • Improved resistance to heat and oxidation
  • Low odor
  • Low organic volatile content
  • Low trace chemicals
  • Water-white initial color
Regalite™ UltraPure 7100 Hydrocarbon ResinNBR-DryRegalite™ UltraPure 7100 hydrocarbon resin is a partially hydrogenated water-white thermoplastic resin with low targeted volatiles after aging, low odor, and low, stable amount of substances of interest as a function of aging temperature. Regalite UltraPure 7100 has improved color stability compared to the heritage grade with the same aromatic content and softening point. Like Regalite R7100, the unique balance of aliphatic-aromatic properties of the resin makes it an excellent tackifier in hot melt adhesives based on SBS block copolymers, providing excellent color retention upon aging.
  • Excellent heat stability
  • Improved resistance to oxidation
  • Low odor
  • Low organic volatile content
  • Low trace chemicals
  • Water-white initial color
Staybelite™ Resin-E Partially Hydrogenated RosinRosin ResinStaybelite™ resin-E partially hydrogenated rosin is a pale, thermoplastic, acidic resin made by partially hydrogenating rosin. Because of this treatment, Staybelite resin-E partially hydrogenated rosin is highly resistant to oxidation and discolouration, and to changes in solubility characteristics when it is exposed to air and sunlight.
  • Color stability
  • High acid number
  • Light color
  • Low odor
  • Resistant to oxidation
  • Wide solubility and compatibility range
Tacolyn™ 1070 Resin DispersionTackifier DispersionTacolyn™ 1070 resin dispersion is an aqueous, 55% solids, solvent-free, anionic hydrocarbon dispersion. It is recommended as a tackifier for acrylic latex polymers used in label, tape, and construction adhesive applications. As a modifier for these latexes, Tacolyn™ 1070 enhances specific adhesion to polyolefin substrates and recycled corrugated board. It promotes cohesive strength and offers good moisture resistance when used in pressure sensitive adhesives. It may be used in clear film label applications due to its good color retention and oxidation resistance.
  • APE-free
  • Enhances specific adhesion to polyolefin substrates and recycled corrugated board
  • Good moisture resistance
  • Good thermal and UV stability
  • Promotes cohesion
Tacolyn™ 5002 Resin DispersionTackifier DispersionTacolyn™ 5002 resin dispersion is an aqueous, 55% solids, solvent-free, anionic hydrocarbon resin dispersion. It is recommended as a tackifier for natural rubber and styrene butadiene rubber latex polymers used in label, tape, construction, and contact adhesive applications. As a modifier for pressure sensitive label and tape adhesives, Tacolyn™ 5002 provides a good balance of peel and shear and enhances specific adhesion to polyolefin substrates and recycled corrugated board. Tacolyn™ 5002 is recommended for water-based contact adhesives where fast break properties are required as in foam to foam bonding applications.
  • APE-free
  • Broad utility as a general purpose SBR tackifier
  • Enhances specific adhesion to polyolefin substrates and recycled corrugated board
  • Good moisture resistance
  • Good thermal and UV stability
  • Promotes cohesion
