Our range of AERAFINTM polymers combine excellent peel strength, processability, low odour and colour.  These polymers enable you to formulate hot melt adhesives with a broad operating window, and compatibility with advanced HMA applicators. They can also spray at lower temperatures on a broad range of substrates.

AERAFINTM polyolefin polymers are compatible with many tackifying resins, which opens up many formulation options. Higher polymer loading, lower tackifier loading, excellent thermal stability and compatibility with hydrocarbon resins make them even more versatile.

In addition, our new REGALITETM UltraPure hydrocarbon tackifying resins deliver on demand for clean and safe chemicals, being low odour, low VOC and low in trace chemicals without sacrificing performance.  These are made from mixed aromatic and aliphatic resins that are hydrogenated to produce a wide range of materials with low colour, high stability and broad compatibility.

Abalyn™ D-E methyl ester of gum rosin, is an amber-colored, near-neutral, tacky, viscous liquid. It is resinous in nature with clarity and high refractive index, low vapor pressure, high boiling point, and good thermal stability. It has excellent surface-wetting properties. These physical properties, plus its wide compatibility, make it useful in a variety of applications, including lacquers, inks, paper coatings, varnishes, adhesives, sealing compounds, plastics and wood preservatives. To assure minimum odor of products in which it is used, it is given a special steam sparging treatment.

Abitol™ E Hydroabietyl AlcoholRosin Resin

Abitol™ E resin hydroabietyl alcohol is a colorless, tacky, balsamic resin. Its tackiness and extremely pale color, combined with its solubility in common organic solvents and compatibility with resins, film-formers, and oils, have led to its use as a resinous plasticizer and/or tackifier in plastics, lacquers, inks and adhesives. Chemically, Abitol E resin is a high molecular weight, primary, monohydric alcohol derived from rosin acids that have been hydrogenated to reduce unsaturation. Abitol E resin undergoes the general types of chemical reaction common to most primary alcohols.

Dresinate 91-44WL Rosin SoapRosin ResinDresinate™ 91-44WL rosin soap is a fluid, high solids, aqueous solution of potassium soap of tall oil rosin. It is designed primarily for applications that require soap solutions of as low a water content as practical and of viscosity low enough that it is possible to pump the soap at practical temperatures. It is used as an emulsifier ingredient in solvent cleaners and soluble oils for metal cleaning. Dresinate™ 91-44WL  provides highly stable emulsions over a wide range of water hardness when used in combination with petroleum sulfonates in soluble oil formulations.

Dymerex™ Polymerized RosinRosin Resin

Dymerex™ modified gum rosin is a pale, acidic, thermoplastic, high softening point resin. It is composed predominately of dimeric acids derived from rosin with lesser amounts of monomeric resin acids and neutral materials of rosin origin. Dymerex™ modified resin has high resistance to oxidation and does not crystallize from solutions or from solid compositions. It is compatible with many natural and synthetic film formers and rubbers. Being an acidic resin, it reacts readily with polyalcohols or hydrated lime to yield high melting derivatives.

In addition, Picco A-120 has excellent solvent release, tack and tack retention, wide solubility and compatibility, good resistance to oxygen and UV light, provides excellent pigment wetting and can be used with both reinforcing and non-reinforcing fillers.
