Layers of protection
Our co-extruded surface protective films (SPFs) can be used to protect a wide range of surfaces, particularly screens for electronic devices and appliances, as well as construction materials and other products that need protection.
SPFs consist of multiple layers – skin, core and adhesive. It’s the adhesive layer that enables SPFs to bond with the surface that needs protection, and a typical formulation includes styreneethylene-butylene-styrene copolymer (SEBS), hydrocarbon resin (HCR) and additives.
We also supply modifiers that can be used as HCR in the adhesive layer, to open up properties such as peeling strength improvement at a lower material cost.
