Synthomer is a leading global supplier of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR latex) for glove dipping. Designed for a wide range of healthcare applications, our NBR emulsions meet the high performance requirements of medical and examination glove manufacturers. Our NBR latices are suitable for broad application including clean-room operations, food handling, medical and chemical laboratory work.
SyNovus™ is our latest innovation platform that focusses on the development of sustainable NBR for glove manufacturing. Through the SyNovus™ platform, we developed SyNovus™ Plus – a new generation NBR latex with sustainability benefits. With low curing temperatures that use 10-20% less energy, SyNovus™ Plus drives down carbon emissions from your production line.
SyNovus™ Plus is accelerator free and has a reduced chemical loading, minimizing the risk of Type IV allergy. Gloves made with SyNovus™ Plus are readily recyclable into new rubber products such as soles for shoes. More sustainable latex means more sustainable manufacturing, and more sustainable end products.
We supply a range of aqueous, colloidal dispersions of carboxylated butadiene acrylonitrile copolymer with various acrylonitrile levels, containing an emulsifier system, and stabilised with an antioxidant.
