In countries where VOC legislation specifies high emission thresholds, solvents or glycols with low boiling points have traditionally been used. As modern environmental legislation drives demand for more environmentally friendly solutions, Synthomer offers two state-of-the-art new products.
SYNTHOMER™ NX solutions deliver low VOC emissions and a wide range of other benefits, giving water-based paints and coatings their optimum film-forming properties during application and cure. Synthomer NX795 (CAS No 25265-77-4) and Synthomer NX800 (CAS No 6846-50-0) lower VOC emissions for water-based paints and are readily biodegradable.
