Safer rubber on the road
For tyre manufacturers, Synthomer IMPERA™ performance resins help enhance wet traction, responsive handling and rolling resistance, without compromising other key performance characteristics or processing. Adding even a small amount of IMPERA™ fine-tunes performance, which potentially avoids tyre manufacturers having to make significant formulation changes or even redesign their tyres.
For tyre manufacturers and formulators, balancing performance and safety is a constant challenge. Both are essential, but regulations, tyre labelling requirements, and third-party ratings place heavy emphasis on safety. Our innovations help tyres perform with better responsiveness, braking and grip so that manufacturers can ensure their tyres deliver on all levels without significant trade-offs.
