| Tacolyn™ 1070 Resin Dispersion | Tackifier Dispersion | Tacolyn™ 1070 resin dispersion is an aqueous, 55% solids, solvent-free, anionic hydrocarbon dispersion. It is recommended as a tackifier for acrylic latex polymers used in label, tape, and construction adhesive applications. As a modifier for these latexes, Tacolyn™ 1070 enhances specific adhesion to polyolefin substrates and recycled corrugated board. It promotes cohesive strength and offers good moisture resistance when used in pressure sensitive adhesives. It may be used in clear film label applications due to its good color retention and oxidation resistance.

It is recommended as a tackifier for isoprene rubber and natural rubber latex polymers used in tape applications. Tacolyn™ 5070 is ideal for low peel applications because it imparts peel strength in small increments relative to resination level. It exhibits good storage and mechanical stability and outstanding stability to acids. Tacolyn™ 5070 is also highly resistant to acids and alkalies.
