Synthomer is pleased to announce that it has won the 2025 Sustainability Award at Henkel Adhesive Technologies’ annual Supplier Awards.

Building on previous recognition in Henkel’s Innovation and Supply Resilience categories, this marks our first win in Sustainability.

The Sustainability Award highlights our role in advancing Henkel’s data transparency and delivering innovative solutions such as our CLIMA-branded products.

Earlier this year, we partnered with Henkel in a supply agreement, commercialising our CLIMA-branded products to enable carbon emission reductions along the value chain. Through this collaboration, our CLIMA products have played an important role in supporting Henkel’s 2030 goal of cutting absolute scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 30% from 2021 levels. With the help of our most advanced CLIMA products, Henkel has already cut its carbon footprint by 46% from 2021 levels—surpassing its 2030 target.

Stephan Lynen, President of the Adhesive Solutions division, comments, "This award is testament to the dedication and passion of our entire team. For us, sustainability is not just a goal – it is woven into how we innovate, operate, and collaborate across the value chain.

“Equally, this award reminds us that every solution we deliver helps to build a world where innovation and responsibility go hand in hand. We are not just making adhesives – we are shaping a future where sustainability is the standard, not the exception.”

Congratulations to our teams who made this achievement possible.
