Synthomer now official member of the EDANA (International Association Representing the Nonwovens and Related Industries)

Synthomer has joined the International Association representing the Nonwovens and Related Industries (EDANA) as official member. The association provides an excellent opportunity for Synthomer to exhibit and share its expertise in the chemical binding of nonwovens and together with its 250 members, Synthomer aims to advance the interests of the nonwovens and their related industries in working groups, industry expositions and events.

As one of the first event participations, Synthomer will be giving a technical presentation at the International Nonwovens Symposium on June 13 in Vienna. Dr. Soeren Butz, head of technical service textiles, will introduce a range of next generation latex binders for the nonwowen industry that feature a self-crosslinking formula entirely free of formaldehyde emissions.
