Synthomer’s Litex self-cross-linking styrene butadiene copolymer for PES roofing provides excellent stiffness and thermo-stability up to 200°C. Litex perfectly complements a wide range of resins to ensure durable and reliable reinforcement, allowing the fixation of staple-, fibre- and spun-melt PES non-wovens. Its chemical self-cross-linking properties in combination with the tailor-made monomer composition guarantee excellent mechanical performance in the final PES fleece reinforcement to deliver long-lasting roof insulation. Moreover, you can rely on outstanding performance, regardless of how the bitumen subsequently applied to the finished roof insulation is modified. In addition, the low-odour and low-emissions profile of Litex offer superior environmental performance.
- High heat resistance accommodates the bituminous laminating process.
- Excellent stiffness.
- Low shrink in machine- and cross-direction underweight charge.
- Good miscibility with a wide range of resin types.
- Excellent starch compatibility.
- Outstanding durability.
- Environmentally responsible.
