Chemigum latices are reactive (carboxylated) or non-reactive aqueous anionic dispersions of butadiene acrylonitrile copolymers (NBR) designed for gasket, friction and other applications.
The key features of Chemigum latices are:
- Excellent abrasion resistance, tear and elongation properties.
- High tensile strength.
- Heat resistance.
- High solid formulations available.
- Formulations compatible with applications requiring beater addition available.
Chemigum Powders are butadiene acrylonitrile copolymers (NBR powders) designed to optimize high performance PVC compounds used in windows gaskets, automotive parts, footwear, hoses, cable and other demanding applications.
The key features of Chemigum Powders are:
- Prevents plasticizer migration improving aging properties when exposed to chemicals, oils, fuels, fats and heat.
- Imparts rubber-like elongation and compression set properties with rubbery look and feel.
- Compatible with molding, extrusion, calendaring and thermoforming processing operations.
- In friction applications such as brake linings, disc pads and clutches, Chemigum improves abrasion resistance, reduces noise and vibrations while providing significant processing advantages.
Sunigum elastomers are unique crosslinked acrylate terpolymers designed to enhance aesthetics, haptics, colour retention, finish and weatherability performance of engineering thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers.
The key features of Sunigum are:
- Compatible with polar polymers like PVC, CPE, TPC, TPU and ASA/ABS/SAN, as well as other polymers with some polarity including ethylene copolymers (EVA and EMA).
- Can be blended with TPOs through reactive compatibilization techniques enabled by carboxylic functional groups in the polymer structure.
- Imparts soft-touch, matte finish and resistance to heat, UV, chemicals, oils and fuels
- Can be easily processed at high temperature (> 200°C)
