DURAGUARD S100 is a copper-based absorbent that removes hydrogen sulfide from natural gas and natural gas liquids, and co-removes hydrogen sulfide and mercury from hydrocarbon gas and liquid streams. This offers durability and performance to natural gas processing operators, and the lead-lag configuration enables you to change-out spent absorbent without interrupting plant operation.  We can advise on the most effective plant set-up for you, and review process data to provide bed designs and performance monitoring.

DURAGARD S100 offers impurity removal to very low levels, and enables you to tune physical properties such as morphology and porosity to enhance its sulfur capacity. It also delivers a sharp sulfur profile through the absorbent bed. DURAGARD S100 has predictable performance across a long bed life with a low and stable pressure drop. At the end of absorbent life it can be reprocessed and the mercury removed, which avoids the need for landfill.

DURAGUARD M100 is a high-capacity absorbent to remove mercury (Hg) from hydrocarbon gas and liquid streams. We have engineered it to have enhanced levels of metal sulphide, resulting in a very high capacity for mercury – an independent comparative test of 17 other absorbents from 7 different suppliers showed that DURAGUARD M100 had the highest capacity.

For operators, DURAGUARD M100 offers impurity removal to very low levels and low bed pressure drop. The product life depends on the amount of Hg that passes through the bed, allowing for variations in the gas flow and impurity level. DURAGUARD M100 can be located upstream of dehydration and amine units ensuring that these units are protected from mercury contamination and that no mercury passes into regeneration streams. At end-of-life, spent material can be sent to mercury treatment facilities to both extract and stabilise the mercury before sending the treated material for metal recovery.
