ALCOTEX ALCOTEX 225 OTH Synthomer Ltd has developed Alcotex 225 for use as build-up suppressant for vinyl chloride suspension polymerisation. It eliminates build-up on the reactor walls leading to a substantially higher number of production runs before the reactor has to be opened and pressure cleaned. This results in higher productivity rates and a better quality PVC resin.
ALCOTEX ALCOTEX 234 OTH Synthomer Ltd has developed Alcotex 234 for use in conjunction with Alcotex 225 as a buildup suppressant for vinyl chloride suspension polymerisation. ALCOTEX ALCOTEX 432P PVOH Alcotex 432P is a 43% hydrolysed polyvinyl alcohol supplied as a low viscosity methanol based solution. It has been specifically developed by Synthomer Limited as a secondary suspending agent for vinyl chloride suspension polymerisation. It may be used in conjunction with conventional primary suspending agents. In optimised recipes, improvements can be obtained in the porosity/bulk density relationship. Better porosity facilitates both monomer removal and plasticiser uptake. These criteria are further enhanced when Alcotex 432P is used with the Alcotex range of primary suspending agents.
ALCOTEX ALCOTEX 45 PVOH Alcotex 45 is a 45% hydrolysed polyvinyl alcohol supplied as a low viscosity solution in a water/isopropyl alcohol solution. It has been specifically developed as a secondary suspending agent for vinyl chloride suspension polymerisation. It may be used in conjunction with conventional primary suspending agents. In optimised recipes, improvements can be obtained in the porosity/bulk density relationship. Better porosity facilitates both monomer removal and plasticiser uptake. These criteria are further enhanced when Alcotex 45 is used with the Alcotex range of primary suspending agents. NMR measurements have shown that Alcotex 45 has a random distribution of acetate groups.
ALCOTEX ALCOTEX 55-002H PVOH Alcotex 55-002H is a colloidal dispersion of polyvinyl alcohol. It has been specifically developed by Synthomer Ltd as a secondary suspending agent for vinyl chloride suspension polymerisation. It may be used in conjunction with conventional primary suspending agents. In optimised recipes, improvements can be obtained in the porosity/bulk density relationship. Better porosity facilitates both monomer removal and plasticiser uptake. These criteria are further enhanced when Alcotex 55-002H is used with the Alcotex range of primary suspending agents. NMR measurements have shown that Alcotex 55- 002H has a random distribution of acetate groups.
ALCOTEX ALCOTEX 552P PVOH Alcotex 552P is an aqueous solution of a 55% hydrolysed polyvinyl alcohol. It has been developed by Synthomer Ltd as a porosity enhancement agent for PVC suspension polymerisation. It has a low residual methanol content. Alcotex 552P can be used in conjunction with conventional primary suspending agents. In optimised recipes, improvements can be obtained in the porosity/bulk density relationship. Better porosity facilitates both monomer removal and plasticiser uptake. These criteria are further enhanced when Alcotex 552P is used with the Alcotex range of primary suspending agents. ALCOTEX ALCOTEX 7206 PVOH Alcotex 7206 is a 72.5% hydrolysed, low/ medium molecular weight polyvinyl alcohol which has been specially developed for use as a primary suspending agent for vinyl chloride suspension polymerisation. Alcotex 8847 is a high molecular weight polyvinyl alcohol giving a high colloidal stability in PVC suspension polymerisation.
ALCOTEX ALCOTEX 975 PVOH Alcotex 975 is an internally plasticized polyvinyl alcohol supplied in a solvent system of water and propan-1-ol. ALCOTEX ALCOTEX WD100 PVOH Alcotex WD100 is an aqueous solution of a 43% hydrolysed polyvinyl alcohol. It has been specifically developed by Synthomer Ltd as a secondary suspending agent for vinyl chloride polymerisation. Infinitely dilutable in water, and with an extremely low methanol content, Alcotex WD100 offers increased PVC resin porosity and reduced levels of gels or ‘fish eyes’ when compared to traditional products.In optimised recipes, improvements can be obtained in the porosity/bulk density relationship. AXILAT AXILAT HP 8530 VACO Axilat HP 8530 is a hydrophobic vinyl acetate/vinyl versatate copolymer resin in redispersible powder form. It is a highly versatile resin with high redispersibility in water and used in dry mortars.
AXILAT AXILAT HP 8538 VACO AXILAT HP 8538 is a redispersible-in-water powder, used in dry mortars to improve adhesion to conventional substrates, especially to polystyrene foam slabs hydrophobic properties mechanical properties workability of fresh mortar.
AXILAT AXILAT PSB 150 XSBR Axilat ™ PSB 150 is a styrene butadiene copolymer powder resin that is redispersible in water. Axilat PSB 150 redisperses to a particle size that is one-tenth of conventional latex powders, resulting in a very high binder power and enhanced adhesion for end use formulations. It is highly recommended for gypsum-based applications.

AXILAT AXILAT UP 600 B  VACO Axilat UP 600 B is a vinyl acetate, vinyl versatate and maleic ester copolymer resin in redispersible powder form. It is redispersible in water and used in dry mortars to improve workability of fresh mortar; hydrophobic properties; adhesion to conventional substrates, especially after severe ageing conditions; and mechanical properties (flexibility, abrasion resistance and cohesive strength). It is a plasticiser-free powder, particularly suitable for ecologically demanding systems.

BINDER BINDER BP 530 PA Self cross-linking, soft, acrylic copolymer binder for pigment printing.
BINDER BINDER NE 34R-2 PA Binder NE 34R-2 is a self-crosslinking acrylic binder with very soft hand and good solvent resistance which is frequently used as a pad binder or print binder for pigments.
BINDER BINDER NU-3 PA Binder NU-3 is a self-crosslinking acrylic polymer which produces a soft but tough binder with excellent solvent resistances when used as a pigment or fiber binder.

DURAMUL DURAMUL 100 PA Duramul™ 100 a self crosslinking acrylic dispersion has been specially designed for use in high quality textile pigment printing applications, such as curtains, sheeting and T-shirts. 
DURAMUL DURAMUL 1000 PA Duramul™ 1000 self-cross-linking acrylic emulsion is designed specifically to be formulated as a sealer for interior and exterior substrates. It will not blush or water spot after 3 - 4 days curing at room temperature.
DURAMUL DURAMUL 100HV PA DURAMUL™ 100HV has been specially developed with high viscosity, high film build and excellent colour strength for use in superior quality textile pigment printing applications, such as curtains, sheeting and T-shirts. Other textile applications include flocking, general textile back coating and production of soft handle non-woven goods. The product is fully self crosslinking with heat; external catalysts or crosslinking agents are rarely required. Prints made from Duramul 100HV acrylic emulsion are very tough and flexible and possess unsurpassed resistance to washing and dry cleaning with excellent light resistance and rub fastness (wet and dry). It also offers the softest handle of any fully acrylic binder available on the market. Because of the excellent light resistance the product can be used for printing items needing good light stability, such as curtains. These prints will not harden or discolour unlike prints using butadiene based products.
DURAMUL DURAMUL 1533 PA Duramul 1533 acrylic emulsion produces a tough flexible film which is designed to cater for a wide range of architectural and industrial uses. It is suitable for use in coatings applied to timber, concrete and some plastics. Being a 100% acrylic copolymer, it resists yellowing and has excellent adhesion, surface hardness, gloss, water and alkali resistance, and exterior durability. 
DURAMUL DURAMUL 2164 PA Duramul™  2164 acrylic emulsion has been developed especially for use in concrete and mortars. It acts as an internal plasticiser, adhesion promoter and as a strengthening agent. Other applications include the newer coating areas of two pack cementitious coatings and for asbestos fibre encapsulation in roofing applications. Duramul 2164 acrylic emulsion exhibits clear performance benefits over common PVA vinyl types of mortar additives, especially in terms of resistance to hydrolysis, weathering and oils. The emulsion also contains no calcium chloride. 
DURAMUL DURAMUL 2600 PA Duramul™  2600 acrylic emulsion produces a tough flexible film, which is specifically designed for use as a sealant in the manufacture of concrete roof tiles. Being a 100% acrylic copolymer, it resists yellowing and it has excellent adhesion, surface hardness, gloss, water and alkali resistance, and exterior durability. 
DURAMUL DURAMUL 652 PA DURAMUL 652 acrylic emulsion produces a tough flexible film, which is specifically designed for use as a sealant in the manufacture of concrete roof tiles. Being a 100% acrylic copolymer, it resists yellowing and it has excellent adhesion, surface hardness, gloss, water and alkali resistance, and exterior durability.
DURAMUL DURAMUL 854 PA Duramul™  854 has been developed as a medium hard acrylic for fishing net coatings and decorative paint applications onto masonry. With a little added co-solvent it will film form at room temperature. It forms hard, glossy and abrasion resistant films and has excellent resistance to weathering, water and alkalis. Can be blended with Duramul 853 if a softer film is required. 
DURAMUL DURAMUL 856 PA Duramul™ 856 self cross-linking acrylic emulsion has been specially developed for use in interior and exterior decorative coatings onto masonry. It provides premium quality adhesion, leveling and whitening when used as a binding medium for paints. Films are tough, adhesive and very flexible with excellent resistance to weathering, water and alkalis. In addition it offers excellent scrub resistance and is non-yellowing. 
DURAMUL DURAMUL 865 PA DURAMUL 865 has been specially designed for use on asbestos fibre cement and concrete roof tiles. It is a hard emulsion requiring higher level of co-solvent to achieve film properties at ambient temperature that can be used in concrete masonry coatings. Being a 100% acrylic copolymer it resists yellowing and has excellent weathering resistance, adhesion, surface hardness, gloss, water and alkali resistance.
DURAMUL DURAMUL PR 3500 PA DURAMUL PR3500 is an aqueous dispersion of acrylic copolymer with an ultrafine particle size. It has been specially developed for use as a primer for preparing porous masonry and timber surfaces for finishing coating. Due to its low film forming temperature and adherent films, primed surfaces are smooth and “keyed in” for the final decorative coating.
DURASOL DURASOL 1230/25X ACR Durasol™  1230/25X is a low odour thermoplastic acrylic resin solution that produces a durable and very flexible clear film. It has excellent resistance to water, alkalis, weathering and UV light and is specifically designed as a sealant for “wet on wet” application in the manufacture of concrete roof tiles.Supplied as a 25% solution in xylene.
DURASOL DURASOL 1860 ACR DURASOL 1860 is a hydroxyl functional acrylic solution specifically designed for 2 pack system with aliphatic polyisocyanates to produce fast drying, high gloss properties. It is copolymerized by (meth) acrylate monomers and special monomers and used toluene and butyl acetate as solvents.
DURASOL DURASOL 2060 ACR DURASOL 2060 is a hydroxyl functional acrylic solution specifically designed for 2 pack system with aliphatic polyisocyanates to produce fast drying, good aluminum powder orientation and solid silver effect etc.properties. It is copolymerized by (meth) acrylate monomers and special monomers and used toluene and butyl acetate as solvents.
DURASOL DURASOL 300 ACR Durasol™  300 thermoplastic acrylic resin solution produces a hard, clear film of limited flexibility. It has excellent weathering resistance and excellent resistance to water, alkalis and ultraviolet light. The product is supplied as a 50% solution in toluene. 
DURASOL DURASOL 308 ACR Durasol™  308 thermoplastic acrylic resin solution produces a durable, yet flexible clear film and is ideally suited to use in clear or pigmented coatings onto a variety of substrates. Applications include concrete and masonry protection, slate sealers, coatings for pavers, and as a base for formulating pebble flooring coatings. It has also been used successfully as a resin coating for rejuvenating old concrete tiles. It is non-yellowing and has excellent resistance to water, alkalis and weathering. It contains a UV absorber to improve resistance to UV light. The product is supplied as a 50% solution in solvent 100. 
DURASOL DURASOL 310 ACR DURASOL 310 thermoplastic acrylic solution produces a hard, clear film of limited flexibility.  The product is supplied as a 50% solution in xylene.

DURASOL DURASOL 362U ACR Durasol 362U thermoplastic acrylic resin solution produces a hard, clear film of limited flexibility. It has excellent resistance to weathering, water and alkalis, is non-yellowing and contains a UV absorber to maximize protection against UV light. It is ideally suited for use on pattern pave driveways and other flooring areas where strong sunlight is expected and where pale or pastel colours are to be used. It has quick drying and fast solvent release characteristics that allow faster return of flooring to usable service. Surfaces are especially resistant to tyre marking. The product is supplied in a high viscosity form as a 50% solution in xylene.  
DURASOL DURASOL 374 ACR Durasol™  374 thermosetting acrylic resin solution produces a durable and very flexible clear film, specifically for use as a sealant in the manufacture of concrete roof tiles. It can also be used for non-roof tile applications, including general purpose concrete and masonry coating. It has excellent resistance to water, alkalis, weathering and UV light. The product is supplied as a 50% solution in mixed aromatic solvent.

This product has a lower level of hydroxyl functionality requiring a proportionately lower level of isocyanate for complete cross-linking for a lower cost product. Nevertheless, the resultant acrylic urethane coatings are very glossy, hard, chemical resistant and possess excellent durability and colour retention. The product is supplied as a 57% solution in xylene.  
DURASOL DURASOL 392 ACR Durasol™  392 is a hydroxy functional acrylic solution specifically designed for use in a 2 pack system with aliphatic polyisocyanates to produce superior performance coatings on metal, wood and plastic substrates. The resultant acrylic urethane coatings are very glossy, hard, solvent and chemical resistant and possess excellent durability and colour retention. The product is supplied as a 59% solution in mixed solvent.

REVERSOL REVERSOL P 760PA PET REVERSOL P 760PA is an orthophthalic, clear, preaccelerated unsaturated polyester gelcoat designed for brush application. This gelcoat is compatible with all unsaturated polyester colour pigment pastes. For normal moulding application, REVERSOL P 760PA should be controlled at 0.5-1.0mm wet film thickness. Medium reactivity catalyst Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide (MEKP) at 1 – 2% by weight is recommended for use in tropical condition. REVERSOL P 760PA gelcoat should not be applied at temperatures below 15°C. Always homogenize this gelcoat before use, by stirring well with hand or with a low shear mixer to avoid aeration, and then allow to stand to regain thixotropy. Addition of fillers is not recommended because it can adversely affect the properties of the gelcoat.
REVERSOL REVERSOL P-763 PET Reversol P-763 is a filled, beige opaque fire retardant unsaturated polyester gelcoat based on RP9583. It is recommended for brush application. Mold-side surface of article made form Reversol P763 is matt and turns yellowish on outdoor exposure.for use in contact moulding. It is the nonpromoted. Like its bae variant RP9583, Reversol P-763 has a class 1 surface spread of flame rating when tested to BS-476 Part 7, 1997. Reversol P-763 is recommended to be added with 0.18part-by-weight (pbw) Cobalt Octoate (10%) promoter and addition of 1 – 1.5 pbw catalyst (MEKP) to 100 pbwgelcoat during application. Reversol P-763 gelcoat should be use at above 20°C ambient working condition. To achieve optimum mechanical, weathering and fire retardant properties, it is recommended to post-cure Reversol P-763 laminates at 50°C for 24 hours, or allow minimum 7 days ageing at tropical condition of 28-33°C, before putting laminates into service.

For normal moulding application, Reversol P- 780 PLT should be controlled to 0.8 – 1.0 mm wet film thickness. Medium reactivity Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide catalyst (MEKP), for example Butanox M-50, at 1 – 2% dosage is recommended for use in tropical condition. Reversol P-780 PLT gelcoat should not be apply at below 15ºC condition. Always homogenize this gelcoat before adding MEKP, by stirring well with hand or with a low shear mixer to avoid aeration, and then allow to stand to regain thixotropy. It is not advisable to add filler into gelcoat because it can adversely affect the properties of gelcoat. Post Curing of GRP articles coated with this gelcoat is recommended before putting these articles into service.

REVERSOL REVERSOL P-9140 PET A clear, rigid, medium reactivity, medium viscosity and promoted fast curing unsaturated polyester casting resin. Reversol P-9140 resin is designed for use with calcium carbonate, aluminium trihydrate, silicates, quartz sand and other fillers commonly used in the manufacture of filledcasting or cultured marble products. Filler interaction with the resin affects the color of the product and can influence the gel time and cure rate. Surface properties are determined by the gelcoat. REVERSOL REVERSOL P-92 PET formulated from a neopentyl glycol / isophthalic base resin. It is formulated for brush application and can be pigmented with most of the unsaturated polyester based pigment pastes. It is resilient and heat resistant, and can be polished to a high gloss. For mould construction, Reversol P-92 should be controlled at 0.8 – 1.2mm wet film thickness. As a guide, approximately 600 – 800g/m2 of gelcoat mixture (depending on pigment) will give the required thickness when evenly applied. Stirring should be done by hand, or with a low shear mixer to avoid aeration. It should be allowed to stand to regain thixotropy before using. Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide (MEKP), for example Butanox M-50, at 1-2% dosage is recommended for used in tropical condition. In order to obtain optimum life span of mould constructed using Reversol P-92, it is recommended to do post curing at 50ºC for 30 hours or at ambient condition for 1 - 2 weeks before putting the mould into use.
REVERSOL REVERSOL P-9303 LV PET Reversol P-9303 LV is a flexible, low viscosity, promoted unsaturated polyester resin for room temperature cure. It is especially designed for use in the manufacture of automotive body patch compounds using either Benzoyl Peroxide paste (BPO) or Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide* (MEKP) for catalyst. It is also suitable for closed mould techniques such as cold press or Prestovac. Reversol P-9565 is supplied as non-promoted and non-thixotropic. This resin can be cured using cobalt promoter with either Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide or Acetyl Acetone Peroxide (AAP) as catalyst. However, AAP is selected for most application since it gives a faster mould turn around. An even more efficient cure can be obtained by using Acetyl Acetone Peroxide-Butyl Peroxybenzoate mixture; this catalyst is specifically developed for RTM applications.
