Axilat HP 8029 is a highly versatile in water redispersible polymer powder, Axilat HP 8029 is used for the modification of dry mortars to improve the adhesion to conventional substrates, including EPS.

Mechanical properties like flexibility, abrasion resistance, cohesive strength are also improved. Axilat HP 8029 is especially suitable for ecologically demanding systems which require very low emission of volatile organic components. 

Shipping and Storage

This product is thermoplastic in nature, therefore excessive temperature and pressure generated by over-stacking of pallets 

will tend to cause agglomeration of the powder with consequent difficulties in re-dispersion. To ensure that it remains in 

good condition, it is necessary to keep the unopened bags in an area protected from humidity and dampness and where the 

temperature will not exceed 25°C, and to not over-stack the pallets. We recommend that the storage time should not exceed 6 

months from receipt of delivery. Storage beyond the date specified does not necessarily mean that the material is unusable, 

but the user should perform a quality check on the properties necessary for the intended application. - Blends with, for 

example, hydraulic binders, fillers and pigments show better storage stability. However, blends of this type still have to 

be protected against moisture. - Slight color variations of the dispersible polymer powder may occur without impairing the 

product's functionality.
