AXILAT PSB 150
Axilat ™ PSB 150 is a styrene butadiene copolymer powder resin that is redispersible in water. Axilat PSB 150 redisperses to a particle size that is one-tenth of conventional latex powders, resulting in a very high binder power and enhanced adhesion for end use formulations. It is highly recommended for gypsum-based applications.
Application Advice/Typical Applications
Axilat ™ PSB 150 has fine particle size and high binding power , which gives enhanced adhesion properties. Furthermore, it has very good alkali resistance and an ecologically friendly profile (no plasticisers, no solvents and no alkylphenol ethoxylated components).

Shipping and Storage
This product is thermoplastic in nature, therefore excessive temperature and pressure generated by over-stacking of pallets will tend to cause agglomeration of the powder with consequent difficulties in re-dispersion. To ensure that it remains in good condition, it is necessary to keep the unopened bags in an area protected from humidity and dampness and where the temperature will not exceed 25°C, and to not over-stack the pallets. We recommend that the storage time should not exceed 6 months from receipt of delivery. Storage beyond the date specified does not necessarily mean that the material is unusable, but the user should perform a quality check on the properties necessary for the intended application.
• Blends with, for example, hydraulic binders, fillers and pigments show better storage stability. However, blends of this type still have to be protected against moisture.
• Slight color variations of the dispersible polymer powder may occur without impairing the product's functionality.
