PLEXTOL E 303 is an aqueous high solids dispersion of an acrylic ester copolymer. The dispersion contains an anionic emulsifier system and is free from film forming aids, solvents and plasticizers.

PLEXTOL E 303 is preserved against bacterial and fungal attack. In the manufacture of finished products, the material has to be retreated, as usual, with suitable biocides to give enhanced preservation.

Above minimum film forming temperature PLEXTOL E 303 forms a clear, tacky film. PLEXTOL E 303 is an extremely soft pure acrylic dispersion, which is suitable for the manufacture of flooring adhesives, in particular for PVC floorings. The dispersion is characterized by especially good cohesion and outstanding resistance against plasticizer migration.

Shipping and Storage

PLEXTOL E 303 is supplied in road tankers or in non-returnable plastics drums secured by a lid with clamping ring or in non-returnable palletized bulk containers (net weight 1,000 kg). PLEXTOL E 303 has to be stored protected from frost and, as far as possible, below 40 °C. Storage at temperatures between + 5 and + 30 °C is recommendable. PLEXTOL E 303 contains a preservative to counter microbial attack during transportation. To protect it against germination during subsequent storage, absolutely stringent plant hygiene and, under certain circumstances, the addition of suitable preservatives will be necessary. Care must be taken to ensure that drums and storage containers are tightly closed. During processing, storage and transport of the product contact with metals unprotected against corrosion (likewise non-ferrous metals) has to be avoided. When stored correctly PLEXTOL E 303 has a storage life of 12 months from date of delivery.
