PLEXTOL L 4804 is a water-based acrylic permanent pressure sensitive adhesive with well-balanced peel adhesion and initial tack, excellent shear resistance and moderate water-whitening (blush) resistance.
PLEXTOL L 4804 exhibits very good adhesion to a wide range of substrates.
PLEXTOL L 4804 can be tackified with commercially available tackifiers.
PLEXTOL L 4804 is an excellent base polymer for tackified and non-tackified PSA applications and enables low VOC/FOG formulations for automotive tapes and indoor B&C specialty tapes. PLEXTOL L 4804 is also recommended for various general purpose paper and filmic label manufacturing.
Film properties:
- good film formation,
- transparent,
- soft, permanently sticky,
- highly flexible.



Shipping and Storage

Emulsion should be kept in the original containers or in stainless steel, aluminium or plastic tanks. Steel tanks with a corrosion-proof lining can also be used.
Containers should be kept closed to prevent evaporation of the water and the formation of a skin on the surface. On receipt of the product and for long term storage, it should be maintained below 30 °C and not exposed to frost, in these conditions it can be kept for six months with no significant loss of its properties; we recommend the product is used within this timeline.

PACKAGING
PLEXTOL L 4804 is supplied in bulk by road tankers. Please consult us about delivery in containers or drums.
