Synthomer today announces that it has appointed Stephan Lynen as President of its Adhesive Solutions division, succeeding Toby Heppenstall who is leaving the company. Stephan will join Synthomer on 1 May 2023 and become a member of the Executive Leadership Team reporting to Michael Willome.
Stephan has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the chemical industry, principally at Clariant, the global speciality chemicals company, where he became Chief Financial Officer in April 2020 having previously led several of its businesses, including its Additives unit for almost four years. He is a proven business leader with general management and functional experience in commercial and operational activities, strategy, finance, M&A, post-merger integration, transformation and restructuring. He has strong international experience having held positions in the USA, Turkey, Japan, Singapore, China, and Europe.
