CLP at Synthomer
Synthomer is committed to achieving full compliance with the CLP requirements in close cooperation with our suppliers and customers. A CLP project has been established to ensure that both the duties under the CLP Regulation and the deadlines that apply to Synthomer under the transitional periods of CLP are clearly understood.
CLP at Synthomer
Synthomer maintains a full inventory of raw materials and products linked to suppliers and customers respectively and have systems in place to capture new information regarding classification and labelling. Trained staff act promptly on new information to ensure that it is communicated both internally, where need be and externally along the supply chain in accordance with the CLP and REACH requirements.
The vast majority of Synthomer products fall under the definition of mixtures and as such the majority of our actions are scheduled to meet the 2015 deadline. Where Synthomer has an obligation to report certain substances to the Classification and Labelling (C&L) Inventory, these will be met.
