Application Advice/Typical Applications

Standard Revertex compounds are widely used in the carpet industry for primary and secondary backing of tufted carpets and in the production of foam backings and underlays. Compounds based on Standard Revertex are recommended for producing soft, rubbery backcoatings for textiles (eg upholstery fabrics) and rugs. The high binding powder of Standard Revertex ensures good results in the manufacture of rubberised fibres and reconstituted leather boards. Other applications where the excellent properties of Standard Revertex may be used to good effect include the production of adhesives, rubberised bituminous mixes, and as an additive to high-alumina cements.

Shipping and Storage

Store the product under shelter at temperature between 10°C and 33°C. Creaming of latex compound may occur during storage. It is therefore, necessary to mix well the compound before use.
